- Description
- Synopsis: This project consists of approximately 74.611 miles of Level 3 Road Maintenance. Work includes performing routine maintenance by furnishing all material, equipment, transportation, supervision and labor necessary to provide Level 3 Road Maintnance and erosion control, including mobilization between roads, blading and shaping traveled way, cleaning all drainage structures, removal of obstructions, minor vegetation clearing, and removing or repairing slides/slumps. Existing conditions of Level 3 roads may be deteriorated. Project Location: This project is located on the Pikes Peak Ranger District in the Pike National Forest. FR300 Rampart Range Rd is located east of Woodland Park and northwest of Colorado Springs. MP0.0 is located in Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. FR320 Mt. Herman Rd starts at the intersection of FR300 & ends west of Monument. The Monument Fire Center roads are located west of Monument. Refer to the Maps & Road Spreadsheet for a detailed location of each road. All roads are located in El Paso County. No site visit will be scheduled Period of performance: on or about June 13, 2011 and the contractor shall complete all work within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. Offerors must be registered in CCR in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204.8. Offerors who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award. All solicitation documents will be posted to this website approximately May 4, 2011. Proposals will be due on June 6, 2011, 2:00 pm MST; actual date will be listed in solicitation.
