Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to Alliant Healthcare Products, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for preventive maintenance of eight each of high definition video routing system located at San Francisco VA Medical Center, San Francisco CA. This procurement is a sole source award under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source and VAAR 819.7007 Sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-50. The NAICS code is 811319 and the small business size standard is $19.0 million. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish labor, supervision, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation and resources necessary to provide preventive maintenance for eight (8) Switchpoint Infinity II Video routers, cabling and plates (Stryker) in conformance with the latest published edition of NFPA-99, UL, VA, and CDRH. The equipment is located at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC), Surgery Department. (End of Statement of Work) The provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (JUN 2008), as modified, applies to this acquisition.
