- Buy List The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) which will be used to decide the competition procedures to procure the attached Response Boat-Medium (RB-M) maintenance items. The USCG is requesting responses from all concerns. The qualifying code for this effort is NAICS 336611, size standard 1,000 employees. The objective of this procurement is to award a Requirments type contract to a single vendor who will provide all of the maintenance supplies for the RB-M. See attached buy list for all 35 parts, from 9 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). The USCG's intent is to award only one Requirements contract that will provide all 35 parts required for maintenance, instead of splitting the requirement by OEM. All interested vendors who can provide these items are encouraged to respond to this notice. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed two (2) pages, including cover letter and contact information. Responses must contain: (1) Statement of which items on the list the vendor can provide, and that these provided items would be genuine OEM parts; (2) the vendor's contact information, including company name, business size, POC name, phone, email, DUNS, GSA or other agency contract # (if applicable); (3) Citation of any analogous work (providing these items within the past 2-3 years) to include contract number, point of contact telephone number or e-mail address. Response is due by 1:00 PM, EST on 3 May 2011. Please submit an e-mail response to Matthew Gross at matthew.t.gross@uscg.mil. Ensure that your response provides the following information in the subject line: ‘Company Name' response to Sources Sought HSCG23-11-I-RBMG1. NOTE: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. No solicitation documents exist at this time. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
