Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for a project that includes supervision, labor, materials and supplies for testing and maintenance of sixteen (16) 15KV breakers, five (5) double-ended 15KV substations, twenty (20) motor control centers and all associated ammeters, voltmeters, including associated switchgear. Perform infrared testing of 15KV switchgear, 15KV substations, motor control centers, distribution transformers (dry and oil-filled) and generator switchgear located in Birmingham, Alabama. The RFP VA-247-11-RP-0142 will be advertised as 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Set-Aside with NAICS code 541380 (Size Standard: $12 Million). This solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about April 14, 2011. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments.
