- Project Number 636-11-105, Backfill Dental Space. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to renovate the old Dental Area on the 2nd floor of the Omaha Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska 68105. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA-263-11-IB-0314 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about April 27, 2011. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held sometime between May 4 and May 10, 2011 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on Monday, June 15, 2011 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 270 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
