- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) plans a follow-on procurement to the Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC), herein referred to as T4. The T4 contract will support implementation of the FAA's Aviation System Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs (including those arising from Airport Improvement Program (AIP) appropriations) under the auspices of the National Airspace System (NAS), the FAA NextGen Program, and aviation safety. The purpose of this posting is to inform industry of the potential contract opportunity and provide draft copies of Section C, Section L, and Section M of the planned SIR for industry review and comment. Interested vendors should respond with comments for consideration by the FAA. The FAA intends to review all responses and consider such responses in finalizing the SIR, which will be posted on a future date, which has not yet been determined. Please be advised that the FAA may take into consideration all, some, or none of the input received in its preparation of the final SIR. This posting is for informational and planning purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This is not a solicitation. This posting is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) of any kind. This posting should not be construed as a commitment of any type by the Government to take or not to take any action. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred by vendors in responding to this posting. This posting does not restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach it may take in connection with this requirement. Responses to this posting shall be submitted to the FAA via e-mail to Eugene Kimbrough at eugene.kimbrough@faa.gov no later than 3:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) on May 9, 2011. The point of contact for questions or clarifications pertaining to this posting is Eugene Kimbrough at eugene.kimbrough@faa.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
