Description: Description:This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport has a requirement to maintain and repair all equipment located within the fitness center. The fitness center is located in Building 80, at the Division 冱 main site in Newport, R.I. The facility provides a combination of aerobic, cardiovascular and weight training options and is used by 200 people each work day. The contractor shall provide quarterly preventative maintenance on all cardiovascular equipment and weight machines including treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers, elliptical and multi-gym/selectorized weight machines. In addition, emergency services/repairs will be required on an as needed basis. Evaluation factors are Best Value based on Past Performance and Price. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a Not to Exceed, Firm Fixed Price contract which includes a base year and 4 options. A formal request for quotation will be released on or about April 07, 2001 with more details and will close on May 03, 2011. The NAICS is 811310 and the standard size is $7.0M.
