Description
The Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, VA 23249 (Richmond VAMC) is seeking potential sources to provide peer review and quality assurance for patients receiving care in the Radiation Oncology Service. Services shall include the presentation and review of treatment decisions for all new patient consultations and re-evaluations. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supplies, transportation, management and supervision necessary to perform this requirement for the Richmond VA Medical Center. The practitioner should institute a documented peer-review mechanism for reviewing the appropriateness of given treatment. The American College of Radiology Practice Guidelines for Radiation Oncology (Rev 2009) calls for the institution and maintenance of Continuing Quality Improvement (CQI). The NAICS code is 541690, business size of $7.0M. This is a Sources Sought notice only, and is not a request for competitive quotes. Contract period will be twelve (12) months from date of award, with four (4) twelve-month renewable options periods. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name, telephone number, and address of company/provider, location or site, socio-economic factor, firm size in relation to the NAICS and any other pertinent information that demonstrates your firms 51% (or total) capabilities to provide Peer-Review and Quality Assurance for patients receiving care in Radiation Oncology Services for the Richmond VAMC. The contractor shall possess all current required licenses and permits required in accordance with Federal, State, and any other regulations.
