- Description
- The work consists of miscellaneous repairs throughout the Memphis District. These repairs may include levee slides repairs, channel scour repairs, culvert replacements, and other rehabilitation projects. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials (except as specified) and equipment for the work to be performed by land and/or water based. The work includes, but not limited to: clearing, stripping; grubbing; excavation, stockpiling of material; debris disposal; placement of geo-textile, filter material, and riprap; compaction; levee restoration using geo-grid and establishment of turf. The states involved are IL, KY, MO AR, TN and MS. There are six (6) sheets in the set of drawings including seven (7) maps. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 237990. This project is advertised as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $33.5 million. The Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract for Miscellaneous Repairs will have a base year and two additional one year options. The estimated cost for this project work is not to exceed $5,000,000.00 for the base year and not to exceed $3,000,000.00 for each option year. Solicitation will issue on/about 20 April 2011 and bid opening date will be on/about 20 May 2011.
