Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial supply item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) R11PS32037 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and is 100% small business set aside, however, Large Businesses may submit a quote, but a small business shall have priority. The NAICS code is 424720 Petroleum and petroleum products, and the size standard in number of employees is 100. The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting field explorations for the proposed Black River Diversion Tunnel (BRT) site located on the San Carlos Apache Reservation near Turkey. The Bureau of Reclamation, Phoenix Area Office, has a requirement for a minimum 2,000 gallon capacity diesel fuel tank with pump. The diesel fuel tank with pump will be required on site for the driller's to refuel equipment. The tank should be delivered with 2,000 gallons of on-road diesel fuel. Contractor will be notified when the tank needs refueling; the minimum volume of diesel fuel to be delivered will be 1,000 gallons. Contractor will provide both diesel fuel and the tank. The fuel tank will be utilized from April 14 to July 29, 2011. It is estimated that approximately 3,500 gallons of on-road diesel fuel will be needed during the project period. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, and all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due April 08, 2011 by 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard time and may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, Phoenix Area Office, Contracting Office (PXAO-8100), 6150 W. Thunderbird Rd, Glendale, AZ 85306-4001.
