- DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SP0600-11-Q-0519 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions, clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 05-50.This synopsis is a streamlined solicitation of offers for commercial items for use where appropriate. The intent of these is to simplify the process of preparing and issuing solicitations/synopsis for evaluating offers for commercial items/services consistent with commercial practices. Only written requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. DLA Energy-BXA proposes to purchase fifteen (15) hoses meeting the specifications of MIL-DTL-17505F, "HOSE AND HOSE ASSEMBLY, RUBBER, OIL AND GASOLINE, SUCTION AND DISCHARGE", dated 7 November 1997. Diameter of hoses shall be eight inches (8"), by a length of twenty-five feet (25'). Delivery location: NSA Souda Bay, Greece. Delivery Date is no later than four (4) weeks after award date. Offerors should submit quotes based on the descriptions specified herein. Offerors shall thoroughly review the specifications and include a delivery time for specified requirements. Offerors responding to this synopsis shall also provide information included in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 52.212.2, Evaluation - Commercial Items) NOTE: The Government reserves the right to award at BEST VALUE. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Please note the following factors used to evaluate offers: Specifications of the item offered to meet the Government requirement to include delivery date, and price. Federal Acquisition Regulations require that all contractors submitting offers/bids to obtain contracts with agencies of the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to receiving an award, during performance and through final payment of any contract or award resulting from a solicitation. You may register easily and quickly on-line at https://www.ccr.gov. Invoices shall be submitted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.212-4(g) and shall be submitted to DLA Energy-BXA, Attn: Mr. Richard Brooks, 8725 John J. Kingman Rd., Suite 2941, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Remittance address: Payments under this contract shall be made to the address indicated in CCR. The clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
