Description

Sources Sought. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Asheville, NC is seeking potential sources capable of providing Temporary Residential Housing to include but not limited to, beds, restroom, bath, kitchen facilities, and related furnishings. Admissions to Temporary Residential Housing will be necessary before and/or after Asheville VAMC administrative hours (8:00am-4:30PM). The contractor shall provide Temporary Residential Shelter services for the beneficiaries within a 50 mile radius of the Asheville VA Medical Center. Adequate security measures, e.g., bars on windows and doors and area fenced, in order to provide optimum safety for residents. Provide food for three balanced meals daily and snacks daily to each shelter resident. Contractor to provide personal hygiene items, first aid supplies, and storage as needed. The total number of beds required is seven (5). The NAICS code for this requirement is 624220. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories “ 8(a), HUB Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firms experience in providing services. Pages submitted should be limited to 10 pages.
