Description
Request for Information (RFI) - Commercial Cloud Solution offering web basedEmail and Collaboration Services. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic is seeking information on Commercial Cloud Solutions that provide web based Email and Collaboration tools. Here is an initial list of the characteristics and capabilities we are seeking. 1. Browser and Platform Agnostic - The offering's online applications should operate on all standard browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE) and operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linus, Android, iOS). 2. Open Standards - All components of the offering should adhere to open standard best practices to ensure interoperability across platforms and other applications (i.e. iCalendar, vCard, XMPP, etc.). 3. Two-Factor Authentication - The offering should enforce (or allow enforcement of) two-factor authentication, including Common Access Card integration. 4. Enterprise Email - The offering should include an enterprise email capability accessible via all standard web browsers and optional thick clients. 5. Digital Email Signatures - The offering should allow the option of digitally signing an email when applicable. 6. Enterprise Calendar - The offering should include an enterprise calendar capability accessible via all standard web browsers and optional thick clients. 7. Enterprise Contact Management - The offering should include an enterprise contact management capability accessible via all standard web browsers and optional thick clients. 8. Enterprise Instant Messaging - The offering should include an enterprise instant messaging capability accessible via all standard web browsers and optional thick clients. 9. Enterprise Voice Chat - The offering should include an enterprise voice chat capability accessible via all standard web browsers and optional thick clients. 10. Enterprise Video Chat - The offering should include an enterprise video chat capability accessible via all standard web browsers and optional thick clients. 11. Online Word Processing - The offering should include the ability to create, upload, and edit word processing files in all standard web browsers. 12. Online Spreadsheets - The offering should include the ability to create, upload, and edit spreadsheet files in all standard web browsers. 13. Online Presentations - The offering should include the ability to create, upload, and edit presentation files in all standard web browsers. 14. Online Forms - The offering should include the ability to create, upload, and edit forms in all standard web browsers. 15. Online Drawings - The offering should include the ability to create, upload, and edit drawings in all standard web browsers. 16. Co-Authorizing in Productivity Apps - The offering should include the ability to co-author word processing files, spreadsheets, presentations, forms and drawings within all standard web browsers. 17. Online Discussion Groups - The offering should include the ability to host online discussion groups that provide members the ability to interact with each other via threaded discussions in all standard web browsers. 18. Online Workspace Publishing - The offering should include the ability to create and manage online workspaces tailored towards individual projects and initiatives. 19. Online Video Sharing - The offering should include the ability to upload videos and stream them in all standard web browsers and platforms, including mobile devices (Smartphones, tablets, etc.). 20. Personal Online Storage/File Sharing - The offering should include the ability to archive, upload, extract/export, host, and share files of any type in all standard web browsers. 21. Organizational Online Storage - The offering should include the ability to archive, upload, extract/export, host, and share content (i.e. for workspaces, etc.) utilizing a pooled quota. 22. Enterprise Search - The offering should include the ability to quickly find information and content easily across all data being stored in the cloud solution. 23. Enterprise Application Integration Environment - The offering should include the ability to create custom enterprise applications within the cloud infrastructure (i.e. Platform as a Service), as well as connect to 3rd party applications. Submittals: All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes: (1). Company information, including name, address and URL. (2) Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor. (3) A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contact's phone number and email address. (4) Product name and a brief description (100 words or less). Please identify the source of programming (i.e. country where the code was written). (5) Please indicate whether or not the tool has been certified and/or accredited, what security authorizations the tool holds, and provide any relevant system verification and test results. (6) Please indicate the level of training and user support that is available. (7) Cost information such as purchase price, General Service Administration (GSA) schedule information, and recurring annual maintenance/support costs. This RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or changes by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government's use of such information. Respondents of this RFI may be requested to provide additional information/details based on their initial submittals.
