- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Policy Consensus Initiative (PCI) Portland State University for the Co-Sponsorship Symposium on Accelerating Project Delivery through Intergovernmental Collaboration. PCI will engage in discussions on barriers to intergovernmental collaboration and how the federal efforts with state and local and tribal initiatives create forums for shared decision making and implementation. Additionally, PCI will develop recommendations for tribal governments in developing strategies, systems and methods to overcome barriers to accelerated decision makings. Because PCI will be organizing as well as providing their own facilitators, and meetings space they are the only source who can provide the services for their conference. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is April 1, 2011.
