- Description
- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION General Services Administration (GSA) is contemplating the addition of a new Special Item Number (SIN) to the Travel Services Solution Multiple Award Schedule. The Travel Services Solution Schedule is used by the entire government to provide high quality commercial travel services in support of all Federal agencies worldwide. This new SIN (599-6) would provide travel management services related to Specialized Conference Facilities and Services. NOTE: this SIN does not relate to meeting and planning services already available under the Advertising and Integrated marketing Solutions (AIMS) Schedule 541. This SIN would be for the actual facility and associated services and could be used in conjunction with AIMS. Also while standard government group and meeting room requirements are addressed under FedRooms Program, this SIN would address larger convention style facilities and specialized conference and educational centers that are not easily accessible by the government. This requirement anticipates that responsible commercial offerors would include member properties of IACC, provide sustainable facilities (e.g., LEEDS certified), convention centers, state and municipal centers, colleges and universities and corporate owned facilities. GSA is interested in receiving information from any small business that believes it is able to provide this type of facility on a world-wide basis and which could be considered a responsible and responsive offeror, under FAR 9-104.1. GSA would like to receive information from any such prospective offeror that addresses the requirements of FAR part 9, not later than March 28, 2011. Please submit this information (no more than 10 pages) to onthego@gsa.gov, subject line Specialized Conference Facilities RFI. Questions about this Request for Information may be submitted to Mary.moran@gsa.gov or to Michelle.Ouellet@gsa.gov not later than three days prior to the above established due date.
