- FY11 SOF AIRCRAFT PARKING APRON AND FY11 SOF C-130 AIRCRAFT PARKING APRON (RECAP) PHASE 1, CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, CURRY COUNTY, NEW MEXICO. The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted acquisition, and thus open to large and small businesses. NAICS is 237310/SIC 1611, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 14 February 2011, with proposals due on or about 16 March 2011. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED under this firm fixed price contract will consist of the construction of a C-130 Aircraft Parking Apron consisting of approximately 140,500 SY of 16 inch concrete pavement. Project will include, among other things, aircraft tie downs, aircraft grounding points, site drainage, associated taxiway access, shoulders, pavement markings and lighting. Work will be completed in accordance with Specification Section 32-1311 "Concrete Pavement for Airfield and Other Heavy Duty Pavements" and any other relevant criteria. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
