- Notice of Intent to Sole Source: HP TRIM Context Document Managing System Date: March 17, 2011 Intended Source: Hewlett-Packard Company 13600 EDS Drive Herndon, VA 20171-0000 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) intends to award a sole source contract to Hewlett Packard, Inc., Palo Alto, CA, for a base with two one-year options under FAR 8.405-6. Hewlett will provide technical support to the Office of the Medical Inspector ™s (OMI), TRIM Context Document Management System (TRIM). This includes three years of system maintenance, help-desk support, database migration to a new VA server; software upgrade to TRIM version 7.0 (accessible via the Internet); troubleshooting; and additional training for the TRIM administrator. Interested parties with the capability to provide the required services should submit a capability statement in writing to Everett Miller within ten (10) calendar days after initial publication of this notice at everettclarence.millerii@va.gov. Information received will be solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative response is received from another source with ten days, a contract will be negotiated and award to Hewlett Packard. The NAICS code is 541519. Please reference RFQ number VA-101-11-RQ-0060 on any submission.
