Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to procure and award, on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Fixed Price contract with WINTEC, Inc. of Walton Beach, FL for 5 four-station Launcher and Missle Emulator (LME) systems Part Number JLE00010-4. The Launcher and Missile Emulator (LME) systems support the Navy Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) development program. The LMEs are existing Special Test Equipment used to support the integration, test, and verification of M299/310 Launchers and Hellfire/Longbow series missiles at the MIL-STD-1760 interface to host platforms. The existing LMEs that have specifically supported M-299/310 and Hellfire/Longbow efforts have incorporated new launcher models/simulations and missile model/simulations to support the JAGM program objectives for planned laboratory and platform integration testing. Under this effort, WINTEC Inc. shall assemble, test, and deliver five (5) new four-station LMEs system configurations, P/N JLE00010-4, to the Navy to support planned weapon integration laboratory and aircraft integration laboratory development activities. Anticipated award is May 2011. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, any firms believing they can fulfill the requirement of providing the LME systems may submit a written response, which will be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-11-T-0117 and clearly show the firm ™s capability, background, experience, and assets necessary to perform the required work mentioned about without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product. Written responses shall be submitted electronically to joshua.s.patton@navy.mil within 15 calendar days from this Notice date.
