- Amendment 001 - The sole purpose of this amendment is to answer the following vendor question: Question: Along with our pricing request from Microsoft regarding your requirement for an Enterprise Agreement renewal, they believed that the 450 client OS licenses should be Pro Desktop, since that is the standard desktop configuration for this enrollment. Microsoft indicated the need to make sure "the requirements are correct and the customer was aware of the issue". I'm not certain if you've been notified of this, but please respond as to what your understanding is of this matter. Answer: The 450 client OS licenses are for stand-alone laptops that are used to VPN into CFTC users' desktops or to a terminal Server session. These laptops are issued to CFTC Employees and Contractors who already have a desktop which is licensed. The laptops do not require a Pro Desktop license as they are never connected directly to our Microsoft Network.
