- Description
- The purpose of this source sought notice is to conduct a mark research of the current small business marketplace for locksmith services contractors. The contractor shall have professional experiences and certifications for locksmith operations which include: a locksmith shop and shop management, certified locksmiths for in-shop and on-site work operation, and a stock of spare combination locks, key-operated and key-less locks and lock hardware; and spare and locksmith tools. All locksmiths must possess a certificate of satisfactory completion or graduation from a recognized and accredited locksmith school or institute sponsored or approved by the Association of Locksmiths of America; The contractor shall provide services in all cases of the disassembly, lubricating, adjusting, and reassembling of the locks. Shall possess a Kaba-Mas X-09 certification; All locksmiths must possess the ability to use skillfully all locksmith tools and techniques, reshape, finish and fabricate part to close fits; Must have knowledge of electronic security, and work in conjunction with electrical/electronic annunciator, alarm and surveillance systems; All locksmith must possess skills to install, repair and maintain locks and locking systems. In addition, the contractor shall possess a TOP SECRET facility clearance. Therefore, if your company is interested in being a part of this market research, please provide the U.S. Department of State (DOS) a copy of your company's corporate capability statement that includes the following background experience information of your company. We request that interested and qualified businesses submit capability statements (electronic submissions are welcome) to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Tracy R. Ford, fordtr@state.gov, within eleven (11) business days of the release of this announcement. This is a100% small business set-aside. Capability statements should include relevant past performance information. The Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited in this synopsis and will not recognize any costs associated with submission of the information. This synopsis does NOT constitute a future contract and there is NO solicitation available at this time.
