Performance shall be within all Countries where DoDDs Europe has a presence, which includes but is not limited to: Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Azores Portugal, and Bahrain. The resulting contract will be for one base year, plus four one year options. It is the Government's intent to publicize a solicitation via FedBizOps within the next 30 to 45 days. UPDATE to Pre-Solicitation Notice DoDDS-E is releasing a DRAFT Solicitation of HE1280-11-R-0003: IT Support Services. A final solicitation is expected to be released within the next 30 to 45 days. If you would like to provide comments on the DRAFT solicitation, please send them to andrew.christen@eu.dodea.edu no later than March 28, 2011, 11:00A.M Central European Time (CET). This draft solicitation is associated with the previously issued synopsis under the same reference number. Pre-Solicitation Conference: DoDDS-E will be holding a Pre-Solicitation Conference on March 22, 2011 followed by individual meetings scheduled through March 24, 2011 CET. The location is off-base, thus vendors attending will not need base access to attend. All interested vendors are highly encouraged to attend this pre-solicitation conference. Conference Agenda: •· Tuesday March 22, 2011 9:00AM-12:00PM - Overview of Draft Solicitation - All interested vendors are highly encouraged to attend. 1:00PM-3:30PM - Individual Meetings - These meetings are to provide an opportunity for all to introduce their organization and to offer feedback regarding the Draft RFP. •· Wednesday March 23, 2011 - 9:00AM Individual Meetings continued •· Thursday March 24, 2011 9:00AM Individual Meetings continued All vendors interested in attending the pre-solicitation conference are required to RSVP in WRITING their intention to participate no later than 1500 hours CET March 18, 2011. Requests must include the name of the company and the full name, title, and phone number of the personnel attending and may be e-mailed to andrew.christen@eu.dodea.edu. All vendors who respond to the RSVP by March 18, 2011 will then be assigned an allotted time frame for Individual meetings on either Wednesday or Thursday. The time allotted for individual meetings will be determined by the number of interested vendors in order to ensure that all vendors receive equal time slots. Pre-Solicitation Conference Location: USAG Wiesbaden Wiesbaden Entertainment Center Bldg. 7891 Mississippi Strasse 65189 Wiesbaden Germany Draft Solicitation Questions: Questions from vendors regarding the draft solicitation shall be submitted by e-mail only to Mr. Andrew Christen, Andrew.Christen@eu.dodea.edu no later than 1300 hrs Central European Time on March 28, 2011. The Government will make every attempt possible to respond to all questions submitted by the aforementioned deadline prior to the release of the RFP. Vendors are responsible to ensure they monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website ( https://www.fbo.gov/ ) for any updates and or release of the proposed solicitation. Technical questions submitted by telephone or verbally will not be honored. The subject of the e-mail shall be "Questions to Draft Solicitation Number HE1280-11-R-0003." Please group your questions by solicitation contract sections and submit each group of questions as a Microsoft Word document attachment. Submission of questions shall include at a minimum, company name, address, point of contact, phone number and: EACH question submitted by the vendor shall be numbered and include: •1. Identification of reference of one of the following: General Solicitation PWS •2. PWS section number and/or title (including subparagraph designations) and title being referenced, as applicable. •3. Solicitation section number and/or title (including subparagraph designations) being referenced, as applicable. •4. Complete description of the question.
