- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request is F11PS00480 and the solicitation is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 05-48).This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business, the NAICS code is 722310, Food Service Contractors with a size standard of $35.5M STATEMENT OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONSThe resulting firm fixed price contract from this RFQ will be for perishable and non-perishable food supplies for remote field locatoins. In general, all products should be long-lasting types suitable for a field camp and non-refrigerated. Some juice drinks can be found in smaller concentrate cans. Call Jeff for additional suggestions."Stick to sizes requested when possible. Avoid super-large Costco style sizes which will go bad when opened and not eaten quickly.
