Description

Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a contract to Carl Zeiss NTS, LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation, inspection manuals, personal protective equipment and clothing including reflective clothing (belt, vest, etc), hearing and eye protection including prescription safety glasses, safety harnesses, fall protection equipment, lifting equipment and any incidentals necessary to perform the Annual Maintenance Support Services of the Leo Evo 60 XVP Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope FESEM Supra 55 for the 76 Maintenance Wing (MXW). (See Appendix A) The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer's equipment specifications and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract with a Time and Materials Line Item is contemplated. The proposed basic period of performance is 17 March 2011 - 16 March 2012 with two (2) option periods. The estimated award date is 16 March 2011. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310. This is a sole source requirement.
