Description: This project is being advertised as 100% Small Business set aside using full and open competition under NAICS code 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $14.0 million. Description:The National Park Service is seeking a qualified contractor for the replacements of the existing Gas-Fired Modular Hot Water Heating Boilers, Gas-Fired Domestic Hot Water Heater, and Sump Pump including all related equipment, appurtenances, controls, and devices in the Mechanical Room at Building Number 107 (Park Headquarters and Library), Governors Island National Monument. LOCATION: GOVERNORS ISLAND, NATIONAL MONUMENT, NEW YORK, NY 10004-1900. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13. To gain a full understanding of the requirement, interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit to view the location where the work will be performed. A formal site visit for this solicitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM local time. Responses are due no later than 11:59 PM on April 11, 2011, local time.
