- 1) The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences is conducting a sources sought synopsis to locate businesses capable of the following: Perform microarray services on 72 RNA samples. Include RNA sample quality control, dual color RNA labeling, hybridization, and array data extraction from scanned images. The vendor must analyze the data using the SAM technique. (Signficant Analysis of Microarrays) The data output must be generated from the Agilent FE software and scanner. The vendor must perform comparative analysis between the USUHS provided report and the vendor generated report. 2) The Government will provide 72 RNA Samples. The Vendor must perform all testing on the Agilent ® Human Gene Expression model 4x44K v2 Microaray Kit,and Agilent GenePix 4000B Scanner. (The Government has Agilent products in-house and may re-produce your results at a later date.) 3) Offerors interested in this requirement must provide the following information: a) Company Name b) Company Point of Contract (name, e-mail, telephone number) c) DUNS number d) Tax Identification Number e) Socio-Economic Status f) Corporate Experience Providing the Required Service. Please provide us with the following information on the five most recenlty COMPLETED contracts: (1) Customer Name and Address (2) Point of Contact Information (name, e-mail address, telephone number) (3) Contract Number (4) Contract Amount (5) Contract Type (ex. Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Labor Hour, etc) (6) Period of Performance/Delivery Date (7) Description of Provided Services (8) Competitive or Sole-Sourced Award g) Past Performance Information (name, POC, phone number) on two customer references. Your submission must be received in this office by 10:00 am, 17 Mar 11 by email to Steve Beck; voice (301) 295-3970, e-mail; steven.beck@usuhs.mil. The capability statements shall not be more than twenty-five (25) pages on 8.5 inch x 11 inch with 1 inch margins and a 12-point font size. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RATHER MARKET RESEARCH TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE BUSINESSES AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE CONTRACT.
