- Description
- SOURCES SOUGHT. The Veterans Benefit Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f) created the procurement program for small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans (commonly referred to as the Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Procurement Program). This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources. Response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor ™s expense. The Government is seeking information on certified and qualified (Per FAR 19.14) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns to provide various Cisco Systems Routers and Switches in support of numerous testing and evaluation projects located aboard the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), Camp Pendleton, CA and Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Quantico, VA. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Government ™s acquisition strategy. Responses shall explain in detail: (1) the contractor ™s experience in providing this type of equipment; (2) a reference list of related contracts within the past three (3) years for similar items; (3) information related to the contractor ™s business size and socioeconomic status, including 8(a) program graduation; (4) a copy of the GSA Federal Supply Schedule if the contractor has a GSA contract; (5) current level of Cisco Partnership (i.e., Premier, Gold, Silver, etc.) This notice is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation nor should it be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Interested parties having the ability to provide the equipment that meets the requirements described above are invited to submit descriptive literature and a company line card to Ronnie D. Bierner, Contract Specialist, at ronnie.d.bierner@usmc.mil no later than 16 March 2011.
