Description: This announcement is a combined synopsis / solicitation directing interested parties to the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov where details for a Phase One Archeological Inventory of a multi-part 2011 Ice Age National Scenic Trail construction project occurring in 9 non-continuous, distinct geographic locations. A description of each location and area is detailed in the Statement of Work and Maps attached to RFQ Q628111A004 for the nine project areas. Total distance to be archeologically inventoried is approximately 8 miles. In all cases the Area of Potential Effect is a linear corridor 6 feet wide. (RFQ) Number: Q628111A004 may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This RFQ includes the Instruction to offerors listed under addendums. This RFQ constitutes the only solicitation. The posted RFQ contains a description of the service, maps, delivery, and applicable clauses. In order to conduct archeological research in Wisconsin all contractors must certify that they are qualified archeologist under the Secretary of Interior's professional qualification standards (36 CFR 61, Appendix A.). See http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/govt.asp. All vendors who meet this requirement, must have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at ccr.gov, and completed Reps & Certs on Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at orca.gov are invited to submit quotes as instructed in the posted RFQ Q628111A004. This Acquisition will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Procurement is 100% Small Business set-aside and is open to all responsible small business sources. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541720. The small business size standard is $7M. Vendors must have NAICS Code 541720 loaded in CCR and ORCA. Quotes are due at 2:00PM EST, on March 23, 2011.
