Description

THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small or emerging small business firms to set aside a single award contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make to appropriate acquisition decision. The contractor shall provide all equipment, reagents, standards, controls, supplies, consumable/disposable items, parts, accessories and any other item required for the proper operation of its' contractor owned portable (12 inch X 12 inch X 12 inch), point of care/bedside analyzers and peripherals necessary for the generation of arterial blood gas, chemistry testing, troponin, finger stick troponin and INR cost per test (CPT). The proposed analyzer and accompanying software shall be compatible with Dept of Veteran Affairs VistA computer system, This service shall be provided on behalf of the Eastern Colorado VA Health Care System (ECHCS), 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, CO 80220, Cheyenne VAMC, 2360 East Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001, VA Grand Junction, Grand Junction, CO, P&LMS Billings, MT CBOC, 1775 Spring Creek Lane, Billings, MT 59102, Salt Lake City VA Health System (George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center), 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84148 and Sheridan VA Medical Center, 1898 Fort Road Sheridan, WY 82801 and the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center 3687 Veterans Drive Fort Harrison MT 59636. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to the Contract Specialist Matt Ake no later than 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), March 14, 2011. Solicitation VA-259-11-RP-0109-BLOOD GAS ANALYZER has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 334516 is applicable to this acquisition, the size standard for a firm to be considered has an Emerging Small Business is no greater than 50 percent of NAICS Code with a Business Size Standard of $7.0 M. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
