- R11PS80523 (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for one (1) each MS 1000 Scanning Sonar System or equal (see CLINs 0001 through 0008) prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is R11PS80523 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-48. (iv) The set-aside is Total Small Business, the associated NAICS code is 334511, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. (v) The following is a list of contract line item numbers (CLINs) and items, quantities and units of measure. (CLIN 0001): One (1) each: Part Number: 901-10010000. MS 1000 Software Based Sonar Processor with Security Key. Local power required for sonar head. Does not include PC, monitor, keyboard, or mouse. (CLIN 0002): One (1) each: Part Number: 901-60240000. MS 1000 Interface Unit, 56VDC Long Line Power Supply, RS485 to USB Interface, AC/DC power input, c/w Slashproof Housing. (CLIN 0003): One (1) each: Part Number: 975-23050000. 1171 Sonar Head. 675kHz, 3000m, Digital, 0.9 degrees x 30 degrees Fan/1.7 degrees Cone, high resolution geared. (CLIN 0004): One (1) each: Compass. Three-axis, tilt-compensated digital compass. (CLIN 0005): Five hundred (500) each: Part Number: 154-0270. Extra Cable. 16 Gauge (x2), 24 gauge (x4) 6 Conductor (Kevlar). (CLIN 0006): One (1) each: Part Number: 436-00710000. Kevlar Cable Connection Kit for 1071 Heads (requires cable). (CLIN 0007): One (1) each: Part Number: 975-80110000. Tripod for High Resolution Head. (CLIN 0008): One (1) each: Part Number: 199-03000026. Reusable shipping container for tripod. (47" X 17 1/2" X 11"). (vi) The description of requirements for the items to be acquired is one (1) each MS 1000 Scanning Sonar System or equal described in (v). See CLINs 0001 through 0008. (0001) The MS 1000 Scanning Sonar or equal (see CLINs 0001 through 0008) must be delivered by four (4) weeks after receipt of order. (0002) The place of delivery, acceptance, and FOB point is the Denver Federal Center, 6th Ave. and Kipling St, Building 56, Denver, CO 80225. (viii) Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The offerors' following criteria will be evaluated in this order: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; (ii) price; and (iii) past performance. (x) If the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov, the offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov, the offeror shall complete paragraphs (c) through (o) of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items.
