- THE SUBJECT REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 29,088 rentable square feet yielding at least 25,294 ANSI/BOMA area square feet of contiguous office and related space in the Rego Park/Corona/Flushing, New York area. Lease term is ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. Space must be situated within an area delineated by the following boundaries: North - Cross Island Parkway Northwest to the Whitestone Expressway, Whitestone Expressway West to the Grand Central Parkway, Grand Central Parkway West to Astoria Boulevard South - Long Island Expressway (Route 495) at Queens Midtown Tunnel to Queens Boulevard, Queens Boulevard East to Van Wyck Expressway, Van Wyck Expressway South to the Belt Parkway East - Belt Parkway East to the Laurelton Parkway North to the Cross Island Parkway West - Grand Central West to BQE, South to Queens Midtown Expressway, South to the LIE, East to Queen Blvd. Seven (7) inside, reserved parking spaces shall be provided for official government vehicles. Space must be located in a Class "A" environment, with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Space must meet the Federal Government's standards for fire safety and handicapped accessibility, and be located outside a 100-year floodplain. Secure office space and facilities in an office building, fully serviced and capable of meeting Government specifications are required. Occupancy is estimated for June 1, 2010.
