- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA4877-09-Q-0296 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49, Defense Circular 20110222 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2011-0214. (iv) This procurement is being issued under NAICS code 333298 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees. (v) The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, supervision, materials, equipment, and management to provide the following: Rear Wheel Well Blast Recovery System: Booth is used to enclose area around C-130 Wheel Well during paint removal. This reduces safety concerns as well as frees entire area of being closed down during project activity. Booth will need to use the existing blast system. Additional information, including measurments, can be taken at the site visit. The provision at 52.212-1--Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2--Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on the lowest price technically acceptable, and the quote that will yield the best value to the Government. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8-- Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.204-9--Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel - contractor shall comply with agency personal identity verification procedures identified in the contract that implement Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidance M-05-24, and Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS PUB) Number 201. All personnel planning on attending and driving on the installation will need valid state driver's license, current proof of vehicle insurance and registration.
