PRE-SOLICITATION NOTIFICATION DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) SIERRA PACIFIC NETWORK (VISN 21) MCCLELLAN BUSINESS PARK SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA ACQUISITION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE (SA) Solicitation (RFP) Number: VA-261-11-RP-0170 Project Title: Bldg 650, 3rd Floor, Complete Remodel and Renovation Project Number: 612A4-11-10 Project Location: VA, NCHCS, Mather Park, Sacramento County, CA Project Estimated Price Range: $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 Acquisition shall be competitively negotiated in accordance with FAR 15.1 Source Selection Processes and Techniques. Offers shall be required to consist of distinct Price Proposals and Technical Proposals. RFP to be issued electronically at FBO Website RFP shall be issued on or around March 17, 2011. Pre-Proposal Conference (PPC) shall take place on or around March 25, 2011. Offer due date shall be on or around April 18, 2011. Exact times, dates, and locations shall be provided in the RFP. General building and heavy construction contractors have a size standard of $33.5 million in average annual receipts. Contracting Activity: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA) Bldg 209, Room 126 5342 Dudley Blvd McClellan Park, Sacramento County, CA 95652 Engineering Activity: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Northern California Health Care System (NCHCS) 10535 Hospital Way Mather Park, Sacramento County, CA 95655 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1 GENERAL INTENTION A.Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the complete renovation of the 3rd Floor of Building 650 including new interior walls, ceilings, finishes, lighting, telecommunication systems, receptacles, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and modifications and upgrades to fire protection and alarm systems, as required by the drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, interior alterations, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, fire protection and alarm and certain other items as indicated on the drawings and specifications. Interested parties shall be required to be registered in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database. The VA wishes to thank all firms interested in this project.
