Description
The MICC Center - Fort Knox intends to issue a sole source 91 days bridge contract to BCP International Limited in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As of the date of publication, the Government has experienced unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirements due to migration of contract responsibility between agencies. The bridge contract is necessary to allow for comprehensive follow-on procurement activity. The requirement consists of providing the following support services to Office of the Surgeon General/Army Medical Department (OTSG/AMEDD). The Contractor shall provide support services for the Rehabilitation and Reintegration Division (R2D), Office of The Surgeon General/Headquarters, U.S Army Medical Command (OTSG/MEDCOM). The contractor shall support the Government in improving the effectiveness of management processes and procedures. In particular, the contractor shall provide advice, assistance, opinions, evaluations, recommendations and training on rehabilitation matters pertaining to the Warrior Transition Units (WTU). The contractor shall provide IT support by assisting in the development, piloting and implementation of medical documentation templates/forms. With the addition of these resources the R2D will implement rehabilitation initiatives; develop and assess outcomes; and support the policy, standards, and processes related to rehabilitation in the Warrior Transition Units (WTU). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
