Description: The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 15, 2011. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED, AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park intends to issue a solicitation for the striping of approximately 17.5 miles of roadway and 1225 lineal feet of stop bars and crosswalks from Nisqually Entrance to Paradise. The work is to include provision of all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licensing, and transportation to accomplish striping. Specifically, the work is to provide striping of 17.5 miles of roadway and 1225 Lineal Feet of stop bars and crosswalks in mid to late June of 2010, weather permitting, but no later than September 30, 2010. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the price range for this contract is below $25,000. This solicitation is intended to be a "Best Value" procurement with past experience to be equal to price in the selection of a successful offeror. Award may be made to a firm other than that offering the lowest price. Any interested firm shall be able to provide a list of previous jobs showing experience in completion of the work described above. No pre-bid walk through will be held for this project. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310 and the business size is $33,500,000. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. Award will be made to the most responsive, responsible firm. The project will be completed in and administered by Mount Rainier National Park.
