Description

Class J&A The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source task order to the Boeing Company, under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001. The requirement is for the contractor to update the provisioning and technical publications for the Alternative IP-1276/ALR-67F (V)2 azimuth indicator. This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the Fleet. The Boeing Company is the only known firm that possesses the technical data, resources, and expertise necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements.
