- THIS IS ONLY THE ADVANCED NOTICE. NO RESPONSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THE GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT LISTED BELOW IS SUBJECT TO CHANGES.THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION AND EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED AFTER 11 MARCH 2011. This will be a small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 532412Size Standard: $7.0 Mil Purpose: Denali National Park and Preserve requires the rental of the following items: One (1) each front end loader, CAT 996G or John Deere 824J or equivalent model year 2002 or newer with a standard bucket with teeth with a capacity no less than 5.25 cubic yards. Must include quick disconnect forks. Three (3) each 12 Cubic Yard Peterbilt dump trucks or equal (TANDEM AXLE). Units shall be 2009 model year or newer. Units must have High Lift hydraulic tail gates for passage of large objects such as stumps and rocks. Plumbed for air, electrical and hydraulics, adjustable air Pintle Hitch for pulling 50,000 lb. triple axle equipment trailers. Attached load cover mechanism for covering loads is required. Two (2) each water distribution trucks, Construction type. Each truck must meet these specifications: Minimum capacity of 2,800 gallons. Units must be model year 2007 or newer. Must be in excellent mechanical condition. Three (3) each Caterpillar 315C / 315C/L or Hitachi EX 160 or equivalent crawler/excavator. Units must have hydraulic quick disconnects for a standard 36" bucket and a 60" wide ditching bucket. All machines shall have a hydraulic thumb attached. Units must be model year 2007 or newer with less than 2,500 hours on meter. As part of the contract, the contractor shall deliver and pick up the equipment at Denali National Park & Preserve, Milepost 237, Parks Highway, Denali Park, Alaska 99755. ALL VENDORS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AN AWARD BEING MADE.
