Description
Direct Digital Control (DDC) Enterprise Software/Operating System This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. This is a request for information. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The purpose of the proposed acquisition is to identify qualified organizations that can provide a product to replace an enterprise DDC operating system (OS) on Hurlburt Field, FL. To ensure that the government receives the best system, we are seeking all available options. It is necessary that the DDC OS is completely compatible with the existing Barber Coleman Network 8000 and Schneider Electric/ T.A.C. G3 Building Controller with Web page engineering and graphics OS. Below are desired capabilities that enhance the preferred performance of an enterprise DDC operating system. Desired Capabilities: 1. The DDC OS shall meet and/or exceed the capabilities and be fully compatible with Schneider Electric /T.A.C. G3 Building Controller with Web page engineering and graphics OS. 2. The OS shall be approved to operate on the Hurlburt Field local area network (LAN), and must have current Certificate To Operate documentation for Hurlburt Field. 3. OS must utilize and communicate with existing Schneider Electric /T.A.C. end control devices. 4. Open-protocol communications; BACNet is desired primary communication protocol. 5. All-inclusive support for web services data handling. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company's capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, past experience, business status ( large, small, small disadvantaged, disabled veteran, 8(a) concern, women-owned small, HUB zone small business etc ) Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organizations qualifications to provide the service/product. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. All capability statements sent in response to this Request for Information notice must be submitted, electronically (via email), to romeo.reyes@hurlburt.af.mil or jason.thomas2@hurlburt.af.mil This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted.
