Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical center is seeking a qualified architectural firm to provide architectural and engineering services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates including services throughout the construction for Project 614-10-124 "Upgrade Controls and Energy Management" at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104. Construction cost range is between $2,000,000-$5,000,000. Consideration of firms are limited to firms within a 250 mile radius of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis, TN. Firms must be listed listed in the Central Contractor Registration under the 541310 NAICS Code. THIS IS A 100%TOTAL SETASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSESS. This project NAICS for this procurement is 541310. Contract award is subject to the availability of FY 11 funds. The project will replace the existing control system with a new protocal control system. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Firms desiring consideration shall submit two (2) copies of Standard Form (SF) 330 to the Contracting Officer no later than March 22, 2011. The A/E selection criteria will include (1) Professional qualification necessary for the performance of the required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firms with similar projects; (3) Past Performance on contracts with government agencies. (4) Location of A/E firms; (5) Experience and roles of key design personnel specifically on related projects; (6) Cost control and estimating effectiveness. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - Responders are soley responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this request.
