Description
Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Washington, D.C. intends to issue solicitation RFQ-TDAT-069-11-MXR, for the requirement of community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services. The facility should be within 15 miles (within the State of Delaware) of the U.S. Post Office at 1101 N. King St., Wilmington, DE.19801, and located within ½ mile of public transportation stops. The solicitation is restricted to 100% small business. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on June 1, 2011 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on May 30, 2016. The solicitation is for a firm fixed price, requirements contract. The government will award to the responsible offer whose bid conforms to the solicitation, is considered most advantageous to the Government with price and technical requirements considered. Technical requirements will be rated on a pass or fail basis. The services shall be in accordance with the FBOP's Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated April 2010. The provider shall be licensed/certified for the State/District in which services will be conducted. The treatment philosophy, methods, and techniques must be based on cognitive behavioral therapy and meet the description in the SOW. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about April 1, 2011. Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer.
