The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement would be 511210, Software Publishers. The FBMS-PMO intends to modernize its financial reporting infrastructure. The focus of this effort is to improve the current FBMS reporting (BEx Web Analyzer, reporting against the BW infrastructure). The DOI requires a COTS solution that will enable the creation of standard reports and dashboards that can be modified, published, and scheduled by the end user community via the integrated FBMS technical solution. FBMS is an integrated suite of software applications that helps the DOI to manage a variety of business functions, including: "Budget Formulation"Budget Execution"Core Financials"Personal Property, Real Property, and Fleet Management"Acquisition"Travel"Financial Assistance"Enterprise Management Information The FBMS Project replaces DOI's existing legacy finance and accounting systems with an integrated suite of applications centered on the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) SAP solution suite. The SAP integrated software suite (SAP ECC, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP BW, SAP PI, and SAP GRC) combined with several additional applications (Compusearch PRISM, and Oracle RDBMS) provides the technical solution and capabilities supporting the business process improvements. The FBMS application runs on a virtual Oracle Solaris platform cluster via Oracle Sun cluster solution for high availability. The new reporting tool should be capable of operating on and integrating with the Oracle Solaris operation system v10 and running on 64bit Solaris. Some applications within FBMS run on Intel based servers running on a Windows operating system when required. The Solution must maintain compatibility and compliance with SAP Netweaver core capabilities including providing uniformity with SAP's Netweaver roadmap and providing compatibility with Oracle RDBMS v11 or better. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted in response to this RFI. Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made. Respondents may be notified of the Government's acquisition method via an amendment to this notice. Based on the review of the responses to this RFI, the Government reserves the right to conduct competition either via GSA Federal Supply Schedules or full and open. Interested organizations shall submit a capability statement of not more than 10 pages that details their firm's ability to perform all aspects of the effort described above and the draft requirements document, which can be obtained on www.aqd.nbc.gov/Business/solicitations.aspx.
