The Simics Rad750 Virtual Platform is a virtual machine of the BAERad750 processor. Simics is the only company known to NASA/GSFC that produces a highfidelity virtual model of this computer. The NASA GSFC Code 582 engages in thedevelopment of the ATLAS Flight Software for on-board algorithms, data management, andconfiguration and control of the ATLAS instrument for the ICESat2 mission. This purchaseis to support the ATLAS Flight Software development. The detailed requirements for thevirtual model are: Binary code compatible with flight device, Provide software diagnosticfeatures and execution tracing, Provide ability to integrate into custom developed Ccode. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will theGovernment pay for the information solicited.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to GENIA BURTON-PENDERGAST at Rogenia.M.Burton-Penderga@nasa.gov or byfax to 301-286-1720 (email preferred), not later than 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time onMarch 03, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
