Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to identify technically qualified businesses than can provide approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of furniture storage space, inventory and management services of furniture by means of an electronic system that can be assessed by Department of Veterans Affairs representative, provide design services for reconfiguring furniture, delivery and installation services. Services include all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and expertise required to receive, move, disassemble and assemble furniture. Contractor shall be located within close proximity of the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) that will allow transportation and service accessible within one hour travel time from the Orlando VAMC. Services are for the Orlando VA Medical Center at the following locations: 1. Orlando VA Medical Center, 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL, 32803 or the administrative building at 2500 Lakemont Avenue, Orlando, FL 32814. 2.CBOC Locations in: Daytona, Orange City, Kissimmee, Clermont, Lake Nona, Viera 3.Other Leased spaces in the Orlando area as requested Responses to this notice should include the following: Name of company/provider, business size (large or small); identify if the company/provider falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories: Service Disabled veteran owned small businesses; Veteran owned small businesses, 8(a) small businesses, women-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, or Small disadvantaged businesses, and the company/provider's size classification relative the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. Please include information on the offsite storage facility (location, size, accessible inventory management systems, and response time on requested projects). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations; no formal solicitation documentation exists at this time. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including if a set-aside is possible. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis/solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Confidentiality: No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
