Description

Notice Of Intent This is a notice of intent stating that the West Palm Beach VAMC intends to award a sole source Cost-Per-Test contract to Polymedco, Inc. for the performance of Immunochemical Fecal Occult Blood Testing services. The West Palm Beach VAMC has a need for a Cost-Per-Test Contract for Automated Immuno Fecal Occult Blood Testing. Fecal occult blood testing (FOBT) plus sigmoidoscopy is a preferred screening option for Colorectal Cancer. The sensitivity of immunochemical testing is superior to our current manual testing methodology. Market research has demonstrated that while other Immunochemical Fecal Occult Blood Testing products on the market, Polymedco, Inc., a small business, has the only automated system on the market and is on FSS contract V797P-7136A under NAICS code 334516. The ever-increasing screening volume at this facility dictates that a faster, more reliable testing method be put in place, which is found to be via the cost-per-test services provided soley by the OC Auto Micro 80 including and all reagents, collection devices, and consumables by: Polymedco, Inc. 510 Furnace Dock Road Cortlandt manor, NY 10567
