Description
WORK REQUIREMENT SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY Household Diary Study This is a Sources Sought notice seeking qualified Suppliers interested in doing business with the United States Postal Service (USPS). The USPS may be pursing a competitive solicitation to award a contract with a Supplier who can provide a Household Diary Study which is a multi-year research effort that will survey over five thousand households a year. This is an integral part of the Postal Service's forecasting and demand research. It is an existing methodology adapted from already developed materials, technologies and methods accepted by the Postal Service. The qualified Supplier will be expected to revise the mail flow diary and recruitment interview materials to accommodate new rate structures, mail identification requirements, and rate schedule changes as they occur; to respond to analysis of study data indicating new or expanded coding of responses, to incorporate data relating to new and emerging technologies that may impact the use of mail by households; and to accommodate evolving Postal Service priorities. To perform this requirement a Supplier will need a dedicated staff and a facility to conduct large national surveys and statistical analysis. NOTE : This Sources Sought notice is not a request for proposal or invitation to bid. There is no guarantee a solicitation will be issued or that any Supplier(s) will be pursued or included in a competitive solicitation. The possible selection of companies from this Sources Sought notice is a business decision. Any information provided is strictly voluntary and the USPS will not reimburse any Suppliers for information submitted. Suppliers agree that the USPS will not provide its rationale for the selection or non-selection of a company. Furthermore, Suppliers agree that any selection or non-selection by the USPS is final and indisputable. If you are interested and feel your organization is qualified and capable of performing these requirements, please identify the business name, point of contact and title, phone number, e-mail and mailing address of the person to whom any correspondence regarding a potential business opportunity should be directed. Interested companies should submit this information via email to Barbara.j.comp@usps.gov no later than February 28, 2011, 3pm MST. NAICS CODE: 541 4A Market Research and Analysis
