- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for battery case. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9E. The solicitation issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) is N00253-11-T-0109 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 335911 and has a size standard of 500. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments if applicable prior to the closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. NOTE 9: Due to the size of this RFQ the government prefers that submission be electronically by email or fax. NOTE 10: Failure to provide all required information from this solicitation and any subsequent amendment(s) may deem your company to be considered non-responsive. NOTE 11: In accordance with FAR 32.904(B), the Contracting Officer has determined that more than seven days are needed for constructive acceptance. The following number of days for constructive acceptance applies to paragraph (a)(5)(i) of FAR Clause 52.232-25 œPrompt Payment which is incorporated by reference: 45 days for constructive acceptance.
