Description: This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/default.aspx. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Contracting webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division proposes a contract action for supplies. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Guidance Navigation Limited, 4 Dominus Way, Meridian Business Park, Leicester, LE19 1RP, UK in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), œOnly one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy requirements. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery “ indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract covering a three year period. All other offeror ™s may submit a proposal that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FAR Part 13.5 procedures will be used. CLIN 0001 - RadaScan Sensor Systems Min 4/Max 6 CLIN 0002 - RadaScan 180 degree Transponders: Min 2 /Max 54 CLIN 0003 - RadaScan 360 degree Transponders: Min 0/Max 36 CLIN 0004 - Standard Extended Warranty, 12 months: Min 0 Max 6 CLIN 0005 “ Standard Extended Warranty, 24 months: Min 0 Max 6 CLIN 0006 “ Full Extended Warranty, 12 months: Min 0 Max 6 CLIN 0007 “ Full Extended Warranty, 24 months: Min 0 Max 6 The procurement will be Fob Destination. Delivery is required 75 days from effective date of delivery order. A solicitation will not be available for download. Interested parties may contact the POC listed below and may be provided with a draft contract document for review. Closing date will be on or about 24 February 2011. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment.
