- This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with 6.302-1, it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to International Surveillance Technology, Inc. (IST). The intended order will upgrade the IST Mini Portable Equipment Module 'Minipems' (m-PEM) surveillance system with VHF audio capability to DEA's existing system. IST is the original equipment manufacturer of the Minipems and holds the proprietary rights to the equipment.
