- Description
- The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division, Procurement Services Staff, intends to award a follow-on sole source purchase order to 3M Cogent Inc of 1881 Campus Commons suite 250, Reston, VA 20191-1520. This follow-on procurement to DJJ08FGIPL0553 is for upgrades to the existing Integrated Automated Fingerprint System & Automatic Biometric Identification System in accordance with 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Interested parties must respond within 15 days of this notice with a written statement. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids, and cost or pricing data is not solicited. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered note 22. ****
