- USTRANSCOM, TCAQ-D: This posting is a "Request For Information, (RFI)" Only. TCAQ-D intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to SAVI Technology Inc. DBA, a Lockheed Martin Company. This acquisition is unrestricted. The SIC Code is 5895, NAICS Code is 334111. The following items will be procured: 140 each - SAVI RADIO FREQUENCY RELAY (RFR), MODEL NUMBER: 300 dual mode (ANSI 256 and ISO 18000-7), P/N: RFR-300-031 aRFID tag and 140 each - SAVI TECHNOLOGY (RFR), MODEL NUMBER: 300 MOUNTING KITS, ATTACHES RFR-300-031 RFR TO THE SAVI TECH. EEDSK TRIPOD. P/N: RFRA-300-034. This sole source is for the issuance of a GSA schedule order to acquire SAVI Technology, Inc. Radio Frequency Relays (RFRs) and RFR Mounting Kits in support of compliance with a DOD mandate to read both American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 256 and International Organization for Standards (ISO) 18000-7 air interface protocol active Radio Frequency Identification (aRFID) Tags. There are no solicitation documents, however; contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror's On-line Representations and Certification Application (ORCA)-Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to http//www.bpn.gov/ to load required information. Any responses received without completing ORCA registration will be considered non-compliant. Further the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Prar 12. Responses must be received not later than 4:30p.m. CST 31 January 2011. Responses should be submitted to USTRANSCOM, TCAQ-D (Larry Haines, Jr.) 508 Scott Drive, Building 1900W, Scott AFB, IL. 62225-5357, Fax: (618) 220-7910. This RFI is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
