- Statement of Work PSC Purchase Description BEAR Primary Switching Center (BEAR-PSC) This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for development, build, test and evaluation of BEAR PSCs. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. We are conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for development, build, and test prototype of the PSC as well as to obtain industry inputs relative to the attached Purchase Description (PD) and Statement of Work (SOW). This is an acquisition effort and is a basic contract without options and the projected year of the contract is FY11/12. The projected quantities will be 1 prototype each and 14 each productions for basic contract year with 35 additional each productions in 3 option years (Estimate 11/year). The BEAR PSC description can be found in the attached draft PD08WRGBGBEA13. Interested parties should respond to the attached capbility survey IAW the instructions therein.
